Job Summary:
The part-time event staff employee is a per event employee who works specifically in the area of customer service at the CURE Insurance Arena.
Essential Functions:
Areas of responsibility change by post assigned on an event by event basis and include:
• Communicating effectively and professionally with guests
• Appropriately greeting guests and scanning tickets
• Anticipating guest needs and concerns
• Directing guests to seating sections as well as other attractions and amenities
•Handling guest issues according to arena guidelines and code of conduct
Non-Essential Functions:
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years or older
•Must be able to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
• Physical requirements include ability to stand for 4-6 hours at a time, without sitting, and walk up and down stairs
•Ability to interact with a diverse group of guests in a friendly and positive manner
•Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, sometimes midnight or later, weekends, all day Saturday and Sunday, and holidays
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•Ability to work shifts that could last one to two (1-2) hours after an event ends
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Physical Demands:
• Employee is frequently required to sit; stand or walk for long periods of time (minimum 4 hours)
• Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
