Trenton, NJ (January 18, 2019) – Spectra, the company that provides Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality, and Corporate Partnerships at CURE Insurance Arena, has announced a new partnership with the local Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County. This unique partnership allows any patron purchasing tickets to a CURE Insurance Arena event on CUREInsuranceArena.com to make a monetary donation directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County in support of their after-school programs.
With the help of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County, Spectra also revealed new artwork on the main concourse at CURE Insurance Arena that was designed and painted by local artist, Leon Rainbow. Leon Rainbow is a world-renowned graffiti artist and muralist in Trenton, who creatively combines graffiti, street art and other artistic forms into innovative projects. Working with Phil Miller and the MCIA, along with CURE Insurance Arena’s General Manager, Fran Rodowicz a vision and idea was developed to highlight Mercer County and the entertainment that is featured at the arena, along with some of Trenton’s rich historical icons and landmarks throughout the community.
“On behalf of Mercer County, I want to thank Leon and his partner, the MCIA, and Spectra for all they have been able to put into this arena” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “The fact that this mural has been done in concert with buying tickets… and that some of the art is available to the Boys & Girls Clubs, really gives a shot in the arm to an organization that means so much to the city of Trenton and to all of us…”
Patrons and guests are encouraged to stop by the new murals located on the main concourse on their next visit to CURE Insurance Arena. For event tickets and to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County, please visit CUREInsuranceArena.com.
